​​​​​​Dear Fort Lewis College Community,

I want to take a moment to share an exciting update on our presidential search activities. The committee has been hard at work evaluating a highly impressive pool of candidates, and we have been truly inspired by the caliber of applicants we've attracted. This is a direct reflection of the outstanding efforts and contributions of each of you and the entire Fort Lewis College community.  After a thorough and careful review of the materials submitted by 75 candidates, the search committee faced the challenging task of narrowing the pool to a much smaller group. During our last meeting, we identified a group of nine remarkable individuals who will be invited by the search committee for in-person interviews.  From these interviews in February, a smaller group of candidates will be selected and invited to interview with the Board of Trustees in March.

We are eager to learn more about these exceptional candidates and explore how their unique talents can help shape the future of our institution. Thank you for your continued support throughout this process. And a special thank you to the search committee members for their commitment and time invested in the search.
