Captain Jeff Kuss (Economics, '06) of the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, performed a flyover with the Blue Angels before the start of Super Bowl 50. We are saddened to report that Captain Kuss died following a training accident on June 2.鈥�

Three students and the assistants presented their thespian talents at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Hawaii in February. Junior Theatre major Jaclyn Drummond earned a a spot to display her skills at the Kennedy Center in Washington D. C. in April. 

Ross McCauley, Associate Professor of Biology, earned a Fulbright award for the 2016-17 academic year. He will use the grant to study in Ecuador. 

Justin McBrayer, Associate Professor of Philosophy, earned a Fulbright award for the 2016-17 academic year. He will use the grant to study in Austria.
