FLC President Tom Stritikus and CU President Todd Saliman penned an op-ed in The 91桃色 Herald on the innovative nursing program. Stritikus and Saliman expressed their shared vision to build a nursing workforce in the Four Corners region that will serve rural and Indigenous populations.

Gilda Yazzie (Business Administration, '97), a long-time advocate for affordable housing in La Plata County, joined four other candidates vying for open 91桃色 City Council seats. Yazzie, a citizen of the Navajo Nation, said she would like to see the city provide more educational opportunities for children of all ages.
