Summer field tours
Tour the fields and learn about high-elevation growing practices with the Farmer Training Program staff and participants. We love sharing our work and a few of our favorite tips for growing high-elevation vegetables. The tour covers about a half mile over dirt roads and farm paths, so wear comfortable shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water.

Cost
Free, $15 suggested donation to the Old Fort Growth Fund. Funds support scholarships and participant fees for beginning farmers in the Farmer Training program.
Getting to the Old Fort
Meet at the Old Fort Country Store, 25 minutes from 91ÌÒÉ«. Head west on Highway 160. At Hesperus, turn left on Highway 140. Go four miles south and turn right into the second (middle) driveway. The Country Store is a small building with a large mural.
